Microsoft Edge

To manage cookies, click on “More options”

  1. Select Settings. Under “Advanced settings”, select “Show advanced settings”, then “Privacy and services”
  2. Cookies, choose the appropriate option (the option “Block all cookies” blocks all the cookies that websites try to store on your computer. “Block only third-party cookies” blocks third-party cookies stored by external web services, such as advertisements included on the web pages you have visited.

Microsoft IE 11

  1. Open the desktop, click on or tap the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.
  2. Tap or click on the Tools button, then on Internet Options.
  3. Tap or click on the Privacy tab, then under Settings, move the cursor up to block all cookies, then tap or click on OK

Microsoft IE11 Windows 7

  1. Click on the Internet Explorer icon in the taskbar to open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on the Tools button, then on Internet Options.
  3. Click on the Privacy tab, then under Settings, move the cursor up to block all cookies, then tap or click on OK.

Microsoft IE10

  1. Open Internet Explorer on the desktop.
  2. Click on the Tools button, then on Internet Options.
  3. Click on the Privacy tab, then under Settings, move the cursor up to block all cookies, or down to allow cookies, then tap or click on OK.

Microsoft IE10 Windows 7

  1. Click on the Internet Explorer icon in the taskbar to open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on the Tools button, then on Internet Options.
  3. Click on the Privacy tab, then under Settings, move the cursor up to block all cookies, then tap or click on OK.

Microsoft IE9

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on the Tools button, then on Internet Options.
  3. Click on the Privacy tab, then under Settings, move the cursor up to block all cookies, or down to allow all cookies, then tap or click on OK.

Google Chrome

  1. Click on the Google Chrome menu in the browser’s toolbar. Select Settings.
  2. Click on “Show advanced settings”.
  3. In the Privacy section, click on “Content Settings”.
  4. In the Cookies section, you can change the settings as follows:
  5. Block all cookies: select the option “Block all sites from saving data”. NB: selecting this option prevents the proper functioning of most sites that require you to log on. The icon appears in the address bar every time a cookie is blocked.
  6. Block only third-party cookies: tick “Block cookies and data from third-party websites”. When this option is selected, no third-party cookies are allowed, including those from sites that you have added as exceptions and for which you have allowed cookies.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button, then select Options.
    Select the Privacy panel.
  2. Configure the retention rules: “use custom settings for history”.
  3. Tick “Accept cookies” to enable cookies and uncheck the box to disable them.
  4. If you have problems with cookies, ensure that “allow third-party cookies” is also ticked.
  5. Click on OK to close the Options window

Opera

  1. Go to Settings > Preferences > Advanced > Cookies
  2. The cookie preferences give you control of Opera's cookie handling. The default setting is to accept all cookies.
  3. Accept cookies: all cookies are allowed (by default) Accept only cookies from the site I visit: third-party cookies, for a domain outside the one you are visiting, are refused.
  4. Never accept cookies: all cookies are refused.

Safari on OSX

  1. Click on Safari in the menu bar and select ’Preferences’
    Click on ’Privacy’
  2. To accept cookies: tick ‘Never’ in the “Block cookies” section
  3. To block cookies: tick ‘Always’ in the “Block cookies” section
