As a leading mutual insurance provider in the European healthcare sector, Relyens is recognized for its expertise in medical malpractice liability. In France, the group also leverages its know-how to support local stakeholders, assisting them in the comprehensive management of their risks. Present in these two essential areas for the common good, Relyens works daily to secure and ensure the continuity of public service missions.
Born in France, now firmly established in Europe
In 2015, Relyens began its European expansion with the opening of its first office in Madrid, Spain. The adventure continued in Italy with the acquisition of Ravinale & Partners, a company specializing in medical liability claims compensation, and then in Germany, with the Group’s gradual establishment in Dortmund and Düsseldorf.
From 2022, our activities extend to Belgium and Luxembourg, then to Portugal in 2025, strengthening our support for healthcare stakeholders in Europe.

On January 2nd, 2023, the Sham and Sofaxis brands became Relyens. This major step unites all our expertise under a strong and united identity.
