A committed company
Our mission
Faced with increasingly complex challenges, healthcare facilities and local communities are on the front lines. At Relyens, we firmly believe that providing long-term protection for those serving the public interest means protecting society as a whole. Today, beyond insurance, we place risk prevention, management, and anticipation at the heart of our mission.

Becoming a mission-driven company
Convinced that companies have a political role to play and a duty to act concretely for the general interest, Relyens took a step forward by becoming a mission-driven company in June 2021.
As an extension of our mutualist model, this mission engages our governance, guides the company’s strategy, redefines our priorities and pushes us to evolve our model.
Securing missions of general interest
For nearly a century, our role as an insurer was to provide compensation after the fact occurs. Today, we want to prevent rather than compensate. To anticipate threats, react quickly and appropriately, and offer concrete solutions. Alongside healthcare stakeholders and local communities, we promote proactive risk management. By strengthening their resilience, we contribute to safer and higher-quality care for all.
This ambition is at the heart of our mission
“To act and innovate, alongside those who work for the common good, to build a world of trust.“
Our purpose is our collective compass. It illuminates our choices, guides our behavior, and reminds us, at every stage, what we want to embody as a mutual group.

“Being a mission-driven company is both a mindset and a real commitment. It’s a transformation challenge that calls for the mobilization of everyone. And it’s a long road that tests our collective capacity to innovate and its perseverance in driving change.”

Tracking and measuring our progress
A mission committee was established in 2022. Composed of clients, directors, employees, and experts, it reflects the diversity of our stakeholders. This committee evaluates the implementation of our mission, reports to the Board of Directors and the General Assembly, and publishes an annual report accessible to all.
Every two years, an Independent Third Party (ITP) audits our mission model. This external audit verifies the relevance, consistency, and reliability of our mission model. It analyzes the results achieved in relation to our social and environmental commitments. Its findings are also made public, in the interest of transparency and accountability.
“Year after year, the Relyens teams demonstrate their ability to create and realize the possibilities of tomorrow. Their commitment is exemplary, and my motivation to support them remains stronger than ever.” »
